Got a recall letter yesterday for my Fuzion to replace the generator transfer switch. I have already taken it in once for the transfer switch wiring recall. This one says that the loss of the neutral in the 240v circuit could cause appliance damage and overheating or fire. They will replace the switch with one supplied by Keystone. The old switch is model number IOTA ITS-50R. This recall supersedes recall NHTSA 10V-594 or Keystone 10-153.

I am taking mine in next week to Holmans for the fix.

New Recall number: Safety Recall 11V-577 and Safety Advisory 11-170.

Units covered ar 2009-2011.

My dealer Southern RV in Tyler Texas notified me 2 weeks before Keystone talked to them Monday and the parts are not in yet. So I hope nothing happens before they get here. George

I checked my transfer switch yesterday. It had a different manufacturer and model number from the one listed in the recall.

Anyone have any problems with replacement? Got letter, took fuzion down to certified keystone dealer 2 weeks ago, they swapped out the iota with the keystone replacement, made in china, started up generator, fried first transfer switch. Replaced with a second transfer switch which wouldnt work at all. Am scheduled to go down today and get thiird put in, but parts werent here as of yesterday. I now have basically a 60,000 piece of junk. Am scheduled to leave in 7 days for vacation. 2 weeks to fix a simple safety recall doesnt create much confidence that they know what they are doing. Keystone says be patient - really? Was curious if anyone else had issues.

Towed the Fuzion 60 miles down to Holmans this morning for the recall to replace the gen transfer switch and when I got there, through no fault of the dealer, shipping mix up, they did not have the switch in stock. I'm thinking wasted trip but Brandy, the service rep, tells me that they will send a mobile repair man out to my house with the switch when it comes in. I won't have to make another 120 mile round trip. This is what I call great service. Yes it would have been better if they had the switch to start with but I'm happy with their effort. I would have had to take it in any way because they have to inspect the switch to see if it is one of the ones that is on the recall list. Still cost me 100 bucks because I could not stay out of the parts store and found some things I just couldn't live without. LOL
