Can anyone recommend a good shop to have the suspension gone over on our tri-axle fifth wheel? I have the wetbolt kit, but some are not accepting grease. Also may need new brakes installed. Any good experiences and reasonable prices would be helpful. Thanks

I asume you are not in Emery?? Where are you?
Sometimes you can get the zerks to take grease if you can take the weight off the axle. The holes are in the bottom of the wet bolts.

I am now in the hill country of TX. We are heading to eastern PA. soon. I may end up doing all this myself. I have read that the wet bolts should be faced at either 3 or 9 o'clock. not sure what is correct. Taking the weight off sounds like something to try, nothing to loose. Thanks for the suggestion.

I have had good luck taking the weight off if the gun wouldn't pump it thru. When I do it again, i'm going to make sure that the bolts are at either 3 or 9. If you want suspension work done in Penna. check Gaumers Chassis Engineering in Chambersburg, Penna. C-burg is on I-81 just north of the Maryland line. They built spring packs for other trailers we had and we took our telephone company trucks to them. They are very well known in the Penna.,Maryland, and West by Golly Virginia.

One of my wet bolts would not accept grease. I loosened it and slowly rotated it until it accepted grease(it would not rotate when tight). Then I tightened it up again and rechecked that it took grease.

Need to be carefull with that. The bolts have splines to keep them from turning. If you tap the bolt out then turn it should be ok.
