After alot of research, visiting RV dealers and shows, I finally purchased my first TT. It's a 2006 Trail Bay 27DS. I want to thank all of you for all of the info I gained by reading many, many posts here over the past 8 months or so. It helped me decide on what kind of hitch and brake controller to buy along with the decision to get rid of the "china bomb" tires that are on the rig and get Maxxi tires.I can't wait for the weather to warm up and get some camping time in to try it out!!! My plan is to retire this fall and hit the road and see some of this great country of ours. In the meantime, I'll be bothering you all with some dumb questions, I'm sure but I figure it's best to learn from the experts! Looking forward to commiserating with many of you in the future!

Great to see that you did thorough research before taking the plunge. Looks like you got a nice size and set up for you and your "family". It should give you many years of pleasure.

See the U.S.A. in your Chevrolet....

Congrats on your 2006 Trail Bay 27DS. I'm no expert but go ahead and ask any questions you want. We were all new to this at one time.
