For RVers who do not have an outside TV wired to satellite etc. I always like to buy a little toy with my tax refund then bank the rest.
Home Roam TV:
http://www.amazon.com/Azend-Group-Envizen-Home-Roam/dp/B005SZ7EV0
It looks like it came out mid to late 2011. You plug the router into your video source and you have a 7 inch screen that you can carry anywhere in the house or outside your RV wirelessly (100 ft.) I bought it to watch the Reds games on the front porch or in the garage when it is nice out. I would consider slingbox but my PC is from work and I do not think I should download something like that on it. The only cell phone I have is from work.
I just tried it out last night. Ohhhh my gosh!! This thing is awesome! It was so easy to hook up and worked right away. At the moment, the antenna is hooked into the cable box upstairs. I went downstairs and it worked fine. It plays wirelessly in the basement, front porch and detached garage. It is not an HD type picture but sufficient.
All you do is put the cable box on any channel you want including any premium channel (HBO etc).
I am not sure if I will use it outside my RV when camping but is possible. You can sit by the camp fire at night and watch a movie on HBO etc! Here is the Home Roam TV ($159). For what I need it for, it works for me. Tell me what you think.
Here is a link and scroll down to the bottom for a video review.

(Note: I am not affiliated with this company but always wanted to watch cable TV in my garage etc. You can also connect to a DVD player.)

I just discovered I can hook it up to a bigger TV as long as it has the Yellow and White connections (does not have to have the red). Awesome! It can save a person from renting an extra cable box.

Just wondering if this could be used with a backup camera. If it broadcasts clear to 100', that would be good. I see it has RCA jacks on the back.

We use an X10 wireless video sender($60)to send DirecTV from living room to bedroom and we can also change channels from the bedroom. Going to buy another unit to send to my garage from the den and take along in MH for patio TV. The one we have is 900MHZ and only one transmit channel. The latest version is 2.4GHZ and has four transmit channels. Google X10 for more info. They also sell a lot of other wireless items.

The X10 looks good but I like my Home Roam TV for the portability to move around room to room wirelessly. For the RV and camping, I think mine would work a little better. If your kids are in a tent next to your RV, they could use it!
My advice is to get the one that fits your needs and research reviews of each product.
