The latest Motor Home magazine has a nice write up on installing hard wood floors.
Since the RV frame flexes quite a bit, floating floors would be the best.

I have a floating floor (Allure) and have had no problems with it; I've probably put 4000 miles on my rig since installing the floor.

Not just frame flexing but also temperature and humidity changes...

Floating is probably the best for ease of install, repair, etc. but be careful to select something that is water tight. Something like the allure tiles stick to each other but not the floor surface.
It's no fun having to lift a replacement floor if you spill or leak water under it.
