The check valve is not the one with flip lever on it. That is the pressure/temperature relief valve. The check valve is on the rear of the water heater on the output water line. The small plastic inner piece is prone to failure and will restrict or block the hot water flow from the tank.

That's a scary idea. The stuff is only a few steps below Drain-O or Easy-Off. No telling what if might do to the various fittings, seals and such. Plus it's not the cat's meow dissolving heavy mineral deposits (rock in other words).
How is the water flow if the heater is bypasses? Half split the system. Flow bad pipe restriction, good flow tank blockage. One other item not mentioned was to check for an air bubble in the tank. Too much air will not allow the water to reach the discharge at the top of the tank. Give the safety valve a burp. You want some air but too much of anything isn't always a good thing.

Check valve sounds like something I am not up to. Sounds like a visit to repair.
I did try shutting off the by-pass and that made no difference.
For now, I will forget the lime-away until after a repair person looks at it.
Thanks guys or gals which ever.

I did the burp of the safety valve last night. Did not appear to have any air in it.

One last thing, did you check the drain in in your water compartment, it would be the Red line from the Hot Water Heater to make sure it was not open?

I had a problem with one faucet on the MH once and found a screen at the bottom (under the sink) where the HW feed goes into the faucet

Do check to see if you have a screen in the line where it connects to the bottom of the faucet. Mine had one and it was clogged with junk from the water heater.

Does the cold water flow ok? If so and if the throwing of the bypass valve does not alter the water pressure on the hot side, you either have a problem somewhere between your outside hose and the lines to the water heater and bypass like a valve open, or the problem may be with your faucets.
When the hot water heater filled, did it fill quickly? Could you hear the water running?

No valves open or closed that should not be. Hot water heater filled just like always.
We are at another park tonight which has water pressure of 50 to max of 55. I am getting more out of the kitchen sink and a little more out of both the bathroom faucet and tub faucet.
I called a friend of mine and explained the situation to me. He said he had seen something similar and it was a hot water line that the manufacturer had bent around a corner instead of using a corner joint. He said with time apparently the HOT water had softened the plastic pipe just enough that is slowly starting closing itself. What think you?
As it stands now, I am going to wait until we get back to Northwest Missouri in two or three weeks and have a RV shop I know take a look at it. In the mean time I will use campground showers or sponge baths.
