Slide slickers were originally designed to prevent rub marks on carpet from the slide, but should work on the vinyl. You might also try using a couple of left over pieces of the Allure as a substitute for the slide slickers.

I installed Allure in our trailer 2 1/2 years ago. No smell, no medical problems that I can tell. My dog sleeps on a dog bed on this floor and I haven't noticed him sniffing around or anything, and you'd think a dog would be sensitive to any odor.
Tried to send you a PM, but you're not accepting them. Here's a link to purchase slide slickers slickers.
The Allure is pretty thin, <1/8", so I added a 1/4" subfloor after the carpet was pulled. That brought the vinyl up to about the same thickness as the carpet.
The slide slickers are made to work on carpet, so I had to modify them a little - cut down the bend on the square end, and grind off some to the tips to make them work on the vinyl. When the slide is out, I store them under the couch, and put them down before pulling the slide in. I just make sure they don't move at all when the slide runs up on them, and after that the slide keeps them in place.
