Getting new white hawk 27'. Looking at electric tongue jack. Dealer is quoting 300. Looking on amazon to save some cash.

Good tongue jacks of about 3500 lbs can be had from e-bay for about $100 from several sources. Three bolts and a fused hot wire to the battery takes about 15 minutes to swap.

As alageezer said. 3500lbs will lift anything you could pull JMHO, Most anywhere is cheaper than a dealer.

You could have a tongue weight of 1200 so I would want something that would handle quite a bit more than that.

Keep in mind you need to make sure you get the correct diameter jack for this trailer. If I am not mistaked there are two sizes.

Tell the dealer NO DEAL if the jack isn't included. You will be suprised what will happen if you start to walk.

I'd buy a 3500# jack, but no need to panic. Research is a good thing and usually free. Enjoy your new rig.
