Hi. I am the new owner of a good condition Fleetwood Jamboree 26T with a Ford 460 engine. It is carbureted. I got an owners manual for the motorhome (Fleetwood part). It has dual fuel tanks and I have no manual that specifies fuel capacities, or any capacities for that matter. Does anyone happen to know what the fuel tank capacities are? And, does anyone know where I can get an owners manual for the Ford cab portion of this unit?
Thanks-Jerry in Kingston WA.

I have a 1989 E-150 van with 2 tanks. I would have to check the manual but I thank the front tank holds 22 or 24 gallons, and the rear 18 gallons.

RockAuto sells owners manuals - drill down to Literature
Ebay usually has manuals as well.

re: tanks ... my 83 only had a single tank (30 gallons) so that doesn't help you much, but you can get a rough approximation by measuring (assuming they're not highly irregular shaped - mine was pretty much rectangular).

L x H x W (inches) = Cubic Inches x 0.0043 = Gallons US

Yes. Neglected to note it is an Econoline 350 chassis.
Thanks Jerry

Curious as to how much you paid for the 1985 Fleetwood Jamboree-- looking at same year/model and the avg retail value on NADA comes up at $3,000 - half as much as the sellers asking price. It is in great condition and has low miles, but not sure if it should be priced at 50% above NADA?

We had an '83 E350 and it seemed the capacities were reversed from Dusty's numbers. We could get a little less than 20gl in the front, most of the time, and a little over 20gl in the rear...most of the time. I never figured out exact numbers.
I treated our max range as 300 miles, 140 front and 160 rear.

Griggs,
I have an 84 E350 and the book that came with it shows the front tank at 18 and the rear at 20 I think, I have never been able to get more than 16 gal in the front tank but I haven't run it dry and then filled it. The rear tank will take about 18 most of the time. I do wish it had larger tanks as the cruising range is pretty short @ 7.5 per gal. Mine did come from the factory equiped to run on propane as well and has a 30 gal propane tank( guess this would extend your range if you combine them all). I have never run it this way however as the previous owner thought there was a leak in the line to the engine and had not run it on propane for about 5 years.
Sounds like you have a nice unit... enjoy

I don't think anyones dying statement ever contained the words "I wish I had spent more time in the office", so lets go somewhere!

Thanks everyone for the fuel tankage info. Well we paid a premium $8k for a good condition Jamboree with 65k miles. The selling part was lots of new running gear-tires, brakes, parking cables and very clean. Almost everything worked. And it looks good.
