I was on my phone earlier. Didn't realize the interior was leather. The controller in my truck is easily reached in case of emergency. It will not remove your kneecap in case of accident. Have Fun!

Here's some pics of my Dodge Mega with preproduction 3/4ton Stable Loads.

What is the rated carrying capacity for a Megacab 1500 series. If it is built upon 3/4ton running gear it must be about the same as a 2500 Megacab. Good way to avoid the higher registration fees.

The Megacab 1500 has an 8510# GVWR, and a 2wd Hemi like that would weigh about 6100 - 6200#.

Nevermind, found the specs:

Megacab 1500 (3.73)
5.7L Hemi V8 gas
545RFE 5 sp AUTO
Axle ratio - 3.73
GVWR - 8,510#
Payload - 2,440#
Curb weight - 6,072#
Front axle curb weight - 3,338#
Rear axle curb weight - 2,734#
GAWR front (2wd) - 4,750#
GAWR rear - 6,010#
GCWR - 14,000#
Max tow - 7,800#

Megacab 1500 (4.10)
5.7L Hemi V8
545RFE 5 sp AUTO
Axle ratio - 4.10
GVWR - 8,510#
GCWR - 15,000#
Max tow - 8,800#

That's for 2006 - 2007 models (345hp version of the Hemi) in the Megacab 1500.

Nice choice....
You will be more like 12mpg average on tank of gas. But if we wanted better mpg we would all drive a prius and camp in a tent.
