We took out our booth seats, and replaced them with chairs, that match the leather, and wood in our coach. We ordered them right from Newmar. To replace some of the storage, we bought two baskets with lids and handles,to sit in each corner. We now have more room to move around, especially when the slide is in.

Our motor home came with a booth - which we never ask for at a restaurant - so after about a year we took the booths out and added chairs and use the some table that came with the booth. Seems to be roomier also.

Prefer booths when dining out. A cushy vinyl booth is more comfy than a hard wooden or metal chair. However my rv has upholstered dining chairs. They are my preference for comfort and flexibility. It is easy to host cocktail hour indoors if needed. We can move chairs wherever.

mine has a booth. Its been modified with a larger table. Hate the fact the cushions always slide. Storage area means bupkiss to me. I will eventually put a buffet/table/folding chairs.
Also I use the dinette as a sleeping area now and its the only reason I havent removed it. When I do I will use an air mattress.

Ken, on RVSearch.com there's currently a 2000 Winnebago Ultimate Advantage (Winnebagos top of the line D.P. for 2000) model 36-C, it has 10,000 miles on it and it's for sale in your neck of the woods, Syracuse, N.Y. for 49K. I do not know anything about this coach or who's selling it! It has table and chairs if you can humble yourself, looks like an affordable DP upgrade for someone that doesn't want to spend 100K or 200K!

DW insisted on a table and chairs. I don't care as long as there is a place to eat. An additional advantage of the table is that it is easy to unhook from the wall and move out into the room for playing cards. With 4 corners it is much more difficult to see what the other player has in their hand.

2 people when on the road, 2 chairs can be put away. With the booth you always have it set up for 4. No way to change it. We like the table and chairs.

I had both and I would pick the booth ... more comfortable and the grandchildren can sleep on it.
