There is a procedure to zero or set the level point for the system.
The poster simply needs to set the level point for their system.
It is not a major problem or a problem at all

I tried the up arrow and even watched the video on my laptop while I was trying to figure it out. Lippert rep. told me if they put all the info on the CD or manuel he would be out of a job. Mine is in storage so I cant check for a while either.
He'll be without a job far more quickly if people stop buying the product because it doesn't work.
The system DOES work and quite well...have had it for three years, with the fully automatic brain installed a year ago...not one problem.

As with any complex electronic system it has to be set up properly to function properly. Ours worked perfectly out of the factory.
The digital readout will give a " out of level" reading front to back and side to side during the level up procedure. It would be possible to not be able to get level IF you are on ground that is un-level enough to exceed the capabilities of the system. We were at a site that was sloped enough side to side that the entire left side of the RV was lifted off the ground to get a proper level. I did not like that and had to use a board on that side. The legs only extend so far.
One has to read the manuals carefully, Understand the system operation and a little practice. We spent maybe a hour in our driveway using the system and testing its capabilities.
It works exactly as advertised once you understand how it works.

I was not making reference to the quality of the system, but the ridiculousness of the technicians comment. If you cannot get a system to work because of poor documentation, then the system is just as broken as if it had a mechanical failure.

I don't have it on my Mobile Suites now. If I were to order a new MS I would not order the auto level. I am very happy with mine as it is. I adjusted the RV so all 4 corners of the bottom side of the frame were parfectly level with a Hilti lazer level. Then I applied a surface mount level on the front right side under the overhang on drivers side and one next to the level controll access box, I used the Rite Stuff gasket maker for a solid bond.
I know how much blocking to put under what side based on front level.
Un hitch set level front to back, lower back hydraulic stabilizers so they raise rear slightly then lower front hydraulic landing gear to re level.
My landing gear and rear stabilizers are tipped out at the bottom 5 degrees and are guite stable.
Bottom line I know my RV is perfectly level when I am done and It may take me 5 minutes longer to set up but I saved a lot of extra money on something that a lot of people have trouble with.

I really don't feel "a lot" of people have problems with Level-Up...there seems to be a handful on this forum who have just not learned how to use it properly. Gives a skewed picture of a very good product...JMHO.

Most people don't have the level up on this forum.
Go to Mobile Suites forum and there are several who have had to go back to the factory or dealer and still are not right.
My point is I dont feel the need to push one button and have it level. I understand some can't tell when something is out of level or they use those useless levels with the ball bearing. So for them this may be the way to go.
I hope you the best of luck with yours. I know I will never have any of the problems with one because I can make mine have same end result with just a bit more work and a whole lot less money.

I can make mine level with blocks etc. also, but I prefer to push one button and let technology do it for me. If there is some problem with the system, I can always go back to my cave man ways.

Cummins I understand being stuck in your ways and not being willing to accept change and technology. Level up system are really not that complex. Once upon a time many thought slide outs were too complex and just something to break and fail.
Auto leveling systems are the wave of the future, there is nothing fun or rewarding to manually leveling a RV trailer. The future system will only get better.
