In the tutorial CD and Manual it shows the rehook procedure, by pushing the right and left arrow buttons at the same time. then the front of the trailer will raise to the point where you disconnected from tow vehicle. When I do this I get an error message the read "function disabled" I called lippert and they stated that you have to raise the front just off level for this auto rehook function to work. Is this true? I dont want to put undue stress or tension on the other 4 legs if not necessary. Anyone that may be able to shed some light on this.

I have the same problem with mine too. Mine reads the same thing. I took it to the RV dealer and they said I didn't know how to use it. I think you have to use the up arrow on the left until it reads auto. I am not in or near mine right now so I can not check it out. My son has it right now so it will be awhile before I can check it out.
If you find out why we are getting that I hope you will follow up on this.

I tried the up arrow and even watched the video on my laptop while I was trying to figure it out. Lippert rep. told me if they put all the info on the CD or manuel he would be out of a job. Mine is in storage so I cant check for a while either.

I was told that if the front leveled out higher than where it was when you unhooked then that function does not work and you have to lower it by yourself. If the front leveled out lower than where it was when you unhooked then that function will raise the front to the height that you unhooked. I have not checked it out yet but the former owner of my unit told me that. He had the Lippert system installed at a Montana rally and told me he asked the Lippert Representative. I hope this helps.

I will be at the factory on April 12th having a system installed. I will be sure to get a good demonstration of how everything works. Would be nice to read the manual before hand. Do you have it in electronic form that you could email me?

Yes, this has been the case with mine. My cedar Creek came with the level up System from the Factory and if the front is higher after you auto level then you just have to hit the down arrow to hook back up. I love the system it has been great but depending on the site you are in you need to learn to adapt to using the system. I have had to put blocks under one side because the site was so unlevel, have had to rehook to truck and make adjustment for it to sit better. It is a great system but is limited depending on your site and how bad unlevel the site is. 99% of the time it is -riase front off truck, pull forward and hit auto level-done.

FlyFisher 2 and skrichards are correct. My RV pad drops slightly from back to front so using the level up system, the front raises to level the trailer. I have to manually raise the four stabilizers then manually lower the front stabilizers to hook up. On level ground, the system works as advertised.
