I'm working on buying a 1999 American Eagle and the seller has agreed to put new tires on it. It currently has Michelin XZA2 275/80R 225 installed. Looking through the Michelin website, I can't tell which Michelin tire is the appropriate replacement for this tire. Thoughts?

Also, I can't find if the 275/80R 225 is the appropriate size for this coach. The mfg. information only lists the brand/model of tire (Goodyear G159)fitted originally, not the size.

I did a search, but couldn't find information around these two specific questions. Any information would be appreciated.

When I used Michelin truck tire selector I came up with 2 tires that are recommended for replacement in that size. Cannot help with proper tire size.

I purchased XZA3 275/80R22.5 16 ply tires to replace the XZA2 tires that were on my MH last year. That is what I would recommend.

If you find the chassis number and call Spartan Chassis they will tell you the O.E. tires they installed when they built the chassis. All American Eagles, etc. use Spartan Chassis.

Thanks. I actually already used that tool and it came back with 8 different models! I ended up calling Michelin directly, and they recommended the XZA3+
