I would like to know if there are any campground on hwy 65 in norther MO> just for a one night stay.

Crowder State Park isn't far from US 65.

Cottonwoods (Columbia) is on US 63 not US 65. About 55 miles east.

Crowder is your best bet. Smaller park but well kept and new shower house. There used to be McColough (sp) north of Chillicothe but I don't know anything about it.
