Well, since these other guys are posting, thought I might as well also. I picked up a 1959 Century from a neighbor down the road last October. Haven't had too much time to work on it since we were gone work camping a month and then cold weather set in, but on warm days I get into it and start cutting and gutting. Here are a few photos to start with. My photos probably won't be as frequent because I'm just working on it as the mood strikes me and the weather is cooperative. Btw, this trailer was made by Federal Trailer Co. in Detroit, MI.
Here are some photos of what it looked like when I got it.

Later I'll post a few of the gutting job.

The wooden screen door is wonderful but that dock side porch light needs to go. Cant wait to see your work!

Here are some of the photos of the gutting done to date. Have the axle, and leaf springs ready to paint.

Covered for the winter

The back end

The front inside

The kitchen counter less stove

About an hours worth of trash

May be a few weeks before I get a new set of photos posted.

That's a classic! I bet it will work and look great when you're done. I understand about the scheduling, the best work I do is when I don't feel pressured or rushed to complete. Yeah, the light doesn't look stock but I'm not hating on it, kind of gives a nautical flair to the exterior. If it was more compact, that would be a good thing.
Good luck with your restoration!

Awesome trailer but I have to disagree about the light; it exemplifies the trailer's personality, if that makes any sense. I'd definitely lose the motion detector though.
