I just found out that the dump station at Oliver Lee Memorial State Park is "closed until further notice." We are leaving for New Mexico Sunday. Anybody know where the closest one might be? My tanks will be a tad full by the time I pull out Friday, so I am looking for a dump station in the Alamogordo area. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Alamogordo chamber of Commerce 0n the West side of white sands Blvd and the fair grounds on the East side of same. Don't know if there is a cost but there is a dunp station in back of the truck stop in Tulerosa.

Thanks for all the help, folks. This info leaves me with one less detail to worry about. Looking forward to the break from the hustle and bustle of the city! Weather looks great for the trip; I'm hoping that Oliver Lee SP has hot (or at least warm) showers now that I won't be using the trailer for that. With the dump station closed, I'm guessing the bathhouse will be a popular place.

Two other places:
Chevron station on 70 heading out of town towards White Sands
And Texaco station next to Lowes

All dump stations are free......
If anyone else reads this topic, the Chevron on 70 towards White Sands (the closest one to Oliver Lee SP) did not have an operable dump station anymore, but the Chamber of Commerce dump station was just fine with lots of room to maneuver. It added about 40 miles to my trip home, but it was available and free.
