Due to a slide at mile marker 144, both lanes of southbound Interstate 75 are closed in Campbell Co. TN. Detour is listed on TDOT site. For more info you can go to www.knoxnews.com

Ah, the ol' Stinking Creek Road Exit. I've always wondered how that creek got its name.

Have wondered that as well! Thanks for asking and answering. Each year we pass by and the kids all yell "Stinkin'Creek"!! They love the name and it also signals we are getting pretty close to GSMNP. I wonder how long it will be closed??
