Can I pull it with my truck? Have a 06' Chev 3500, Dually, Crew cab Duramax/Allsion with two wheel drive. Looking at a unit that's 37' and weigh's in at 14,250 empty, with a 2,250 pin wt.
Too much truck? Too much trailer? Good Match? HELP!

Once you load up the 5th wheel with gear and people you'll probably be close to the maximum for the truck. It will handle it.

But you'll be placing a lot of stress on a 6 year old truck so be ready for some problems depending on how much towing you do and over what type conditions and terrain (cold, hills, flat, mountains, traffic, heat...etc)

Yes, you should never tow with a truck over 3 years old.

All things considered...go fer it! But if you have a choice tho'...go a "smooch" shorter and a "smidge" less weight!

From Fordsooperdooty's Pamphlet "RVing Terminology 101"...

"Smooch"-RVing term meaning just because you have enough truck, don't go overboard!

"Smidge"- Less than "Holy Smoke!" but a bit more than "just right".

Do you really need that much room or want to be towing and parking 37 ft of trailer/5th wheel???
Or is the one you are just looking at it beause you found it by chance???
After you load up this 5th wheel you will be towing
Around 16k to 17 k lbs!! You would be in the "big dog" category! Any 5 th wheel will work for you if it meets all your needs:-)

You will be at the end of what your numbers should be. Also might have D tires because it is a 2wd. Many 2500 pickups are pulling this load and they are really overloaded.

14,250 empty, with a 2,250 pin wt.' That does not compute. You will be pushing 17K or more GVWR.What does the sticker on the side of the RV say for GVWR.
Need to know more about the numbers to say anything. Aslo need the trucks specs.
