A deputy in a nearby county to my home was severely burned when he was serving papers at a resident. The person who came to the door had a shake & bake setup IN HIS HAND WHEN HE ANSWERED THE DOOR.

A few months ago someone was arrested in a Tulsa OK Walmart, walking around with the ingredients in a bottle.

Yes, pay attention to what is going on around you. If you notice weird stuff, it's time to move. But it's not always obvious.

Meth is a horrible scourge on my beloved state of TN. There were more meth lab busts here in 2010 than any other state in the country.

I imagine the television show "Breaking Bad" may lead to increased use of RV's for meth labs.

Article didn't mention anything about a Meth bust. Perhaps I just misread it.

You are correct. But, it did bust up the operation. It probably put them out of business for a whole day.

A truly sad situation and it is now global. I'm not sure how it will stop. The effects of meth are devastating to individuals, families and society as a whole.

The presence of Mexican drug cartels in U.S. cities is expanding. Mexican cartels have long had links to marijuana-growing farms in California, and are widening their reach into the Pacific Northwest and the Eastern United States. They also are involved in producing methamphetamines in the United States.

I am staying at this RV park and yes it is mostly workers. That evening I never new anything was happening. The news did say RV park but when i watched the news clip it looked like it was at the mobile home park next door.

Not just RV parks. A portable meth lab exploded at a Nursing Home in Ohio.

Meth labs and working girls in RVs was the reason our city council gave for closing down our almost free short-stay RV park. A RV parking spot tends to be watched less carefully than a motel room, unless motel management is in on the business.

Now they have to watch who is parking RVs in truck stops and grocery store and strip mall lots after hours; those places have been a "meet for a deal" problem for at least the past 25 years, meth cooking has been a problem for 12-15 here.

We are about 40 miles north of one of the red dots, where the problem is even more extreme, but it is almost everywhere.
