In fact, that very can of SPAM, from which you ate, HAS been around all your life.

You are indeed a brave man comparing your wife to Frau Blücher! Inga (Teri Garr) would have been more impressive...

Haven't had Spam in xx years - maybe 40? Tried some of the new Turkey Spam the other day. Spam & eggs for breakfast wasn't too bad, but not the same taste - naturally, 'cause it's more healthy.
When (& if) I reach 80, I'll celebrate with real Spam.

When I was in my teens traveling with my parents, we took a tour of the Hormel plant (I believe somewhere in Minnesota). We were shown all aspects of the operation, including the making of Spam.
From that day to this, I have never eaten Spam, and will never voluntarily do so.
Enough said.

When I was about 10, we toured a hot dog plant. Took me several years to eat 'em, but, like Spam, they're just too good to resist.

A nice morning fire and a large case iron skillet. Some bacon grease in the skillet then a can of chopped up Spam, peppers, onions, mushrooms, and a carton of scrambled eggs to mix in. Top with some cheese and your good for the day.

As a cabinetmaker i built a lot of the KFC resturants in Windsor and i couldn't eat their chicken for years either but alas it's just too friggin' good! I'm sure Spam won't help my colesteral level but there was this un-real satisfying feeling while i scarfed down that delicious treat and i have this forum to thank for it,if i hadn't read the Spam recipes post earlier i would never have thought to try it!

If you like a good bacon, lettuce, and tomato sammich, use the bacon flavored Spam.
I am eating on a can of the hot and spicy now and it is just to hot. Doesn't really do anything for the Spam.
