Millenicom has dropped its 20GB 3G Verizon wireless Internet plan.
It appears that they are now Sprint only as their BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) plan only applies to Sprint USB devices.

Hi Tech,
Yes, and don't try to have them ship a device to Canada--or pay with a Canadian Credit Card. They will do neither.

Bad info....here is the correct info directly from them.
16:51:53 Visitor: I am an existing customer and it appears you have dropped Verizon as a carrier. Are those of us with Verizon accounts going to be allowed to remain as customers or are we going to be forced to another carrier?

16:52:32 Matt: Hello! Welcome to our online support.
16:52:55 Matt: We have not dropped any of our upstream providers.
16:52:57 Visitor: Hi Matt, this is Bob XXXXX, we have talked before
16:53:30 Matt: The Standard and the Advanced plan are not being offered at this time due to a shortage in the devices for those plans.
16:53:30 Visitor: Just looked at your website and there is no ref to the 20G plan like I have.
16:53:43 Matt: This will not and does not affect your service at all.
16:54:02 Matt: We do plan to offer those plans again as soon as we receive more devices for them.
16:55:07 Visitor: OK, I was just worried that it would disappear and we can not use Sprint here in the oil patch of south Texas
16:55:28 Matt: No, your service is safe.

Um, I kinda figured they wouldn't drop existing customers, especially Texans
As far as "we plan to offer those plans again" . . . we'll see. Hope so. But for the moment it appears that Millenicom is only reselling Sprint bandwidth.

I talked with them last night - even if you have suspended your plan ( I dropped mine in November & plan to restart in April), they will restart it for their standard fee of $19.99.

A few folks have posted on other forums that Millenicom still has a limited amount of devices available at this time for the advanced plan . If you call direct in to them right away you still might be able to get in on this great plan.

Is this the hotspot plan that you are referring to as the 20GB Verizon plan? Thanks.

The 20GB 3G plan was called the "Advanced Plan" and is currently on hold because they are having difficulty getting modems for it. The Hotspot plan is a 4G/3G plan from Verizon & still is being sold.

Great to know! I can re-activate my old 20MB 3G plan from last year.
Tx for info. I owe you!
