We've gone to Myrtle Beach, SC's Ocean Lakes campground a couple of times. The beach is great for walking and swimmng, don't know if they allow fishing and I beleive they do have a pool. There are many campgrounds in Myrtle Beach on the ocean besides Ocean Lakes and more that are away from the coast. Some are high end, some family orientated so there is a wide variety of choices.

Be aware that all the Myrtle Beach areas are very busy and noisy during the day especially during spring break, on weekends and after school is out, with folks driving around in their golf carts, out walking dogs, riding bikes, etc.

If you desire quiet choose one of the higher end resorts or go during off peak times.

More great places to go is the NC shoreline out near Cape Hateras, Kitty Hawk, and Ocracoke Island. Some of those areas require reserving space on a ferry or taking the long route around on some of the bridges.

Check out the Destin, FL area also. Topsail and Camping on the Gulf might be good for you.

We also like Lakewood RV park it's right next ocean lakes but the beach is a little less "busy" . Lots of stuff to do for children and they do allow fishing.
If you head to Florida Keys, Bahai Honda SP is one of our favorite places!

Myrtle Beach is a good first choice for you as its like the RV capitol of the east. Many Cg's to pick from and everyone has their favorite. Ours was Pirateland we went to 5 spring breaks in a row. Our daughter loved it there. Google Myrtle Beach Campgrounds or search on RV net and you will find a wealth of information. Have a great time!

My favorite Ocean Front Camp is Bryn Mawr in St. Augustine. I know the reviews say it is a "tight" campground to get into but if you ask for one of the ocean front sites it is very very easy to get in and out of your site. I have a 45' coach with 4 slides and I tow and have never had a problem. People fish right on the beach, they have a huge pool and is very close to many restaurants and attractions. Old town St. Augustine is a short drive, the alligator farm is fun but the best is that you can see and hear the ocean from your site.

Another vote for Pirate Land, we have been there 4-5 times and love the beach. The CG is nice, had an issue once when they stuck us on one of the tighter streets back when we had a 36' 5er and I had to do about an 85 point turn to shoehorn it into the site but once we were set up it was fine. We just book the pull through site closer to the beach and haven't had an issue since. We have tried to get into Ocean lakes and Lakewoods but they seem to fill up faster than Pirate Land and haven't gotten in.
Good luck,
Bob
