That's OK, we can go on "trips" to each other's driveways for a change of scenery. I'm next door in Cedar Point.

Yes. I will continue at $8/gallon.
The price is all relative. If your income increases proportionally also then the relative price of gas to your income stays constant.
If your income lags, you will set priorities and choose where to spend your disposable income. I enjoy our trips and will most likely continue. There are other areas of our monthly budget we can cut.

I will deal with it then, really couldn't care less now. If that's the price, guess I will pay it to enjoy my lifestyle.

We will go as the memories are truly priceless......I still remember the outing when I was a kid and my kids now talk about our trips all year....That alone is worth the price.

Hang on to that old gas burner that gets 7 miles to the gallon. People will look at you funny then, cause you will be poluting the environment with all the fumes, but who cares?
I have 14,000 miles on my 100% electric Nissan. And I have no problem burning $8 fuel at 8 mpg. That kinda has a ring to it
