I have been running Kumho 17.5 on several heavy equipment trailers since 05. These have been an outstanding tire in this application. No problems they just run. You might look into these as well.

I'm also looking at replacing my "china bombs" on my 2010 Fuzion 398 and I'm also considering the goodyear G614 tires. My question is, for those of you that are running the 614's; are your factory wheels rated for the 110 psi required to get the full rating out of the 614 tire, or did you replace your wheels with a higher capacity wheel? If you have to replace the wheels, it would make sense to go to the 17.5" wheels and increase the load capacity even more. With the current fuel prices, I don't use my trailer near enough to justify that much money for tires AND wheels!

My wheels are rated to 110psi. When the OEM tires wear off next year I will put on 16" G614s. They were bullet proof on my last toy hauler and I don't feel the need to go to any higher rating than what they provide.
I also don't feel the need to replace the current tires just because they were made in China.

I'm not just replacing them because they are made in china. I was checking the air pressure in them the other day and noticed that they are starting to crack and don't want to chance having a blow out. I've blown tires before and it creates alot damage to your trailer. I would like to replace my tires before I have a blow out and have any damage done to my trailer. Also, having the peace of mind would go along ways. Where do I find the pressure rating for my OEM wheels?

It's stamped on the back of the wheel. You may be able to see it while mounted to trailer. If not, take one off. Some are behind the spokes and others are on the round part of the rim.
Good luck.

I agree - I'd replace them too.
My last truck came with Goodyear Wranglers and within 2 years all the tires cracked including the spare that had never touched the ground. Goodyear replaced them (70% - I paid 30%). The next set did exactly the same. I threw them out and put Michelins on which were great. My new truck has Michelins too.
It's funny though - I HATE the Goodyear Wrangler but rave about the 614RST. I believe GY has discontinued the model of Wrangler I had.

Anybody know who imports the Mastertrack Tires? Just curious because I can't find anything on line.
I'm closer to replacing mine than I thought. The right side tires always wear quicker since most roads are crowned and this shifts the weight to the right side. I figured I have 13,000 miles on my Voltage in one year. Those of us that live on the west coast have to remember that you're starting out with 2500 miles on these tires after they arrive from Indiana.
Does anybody bother to rotate their tires? If so, is it just right side to left side or is there some other pattern.

I pulled a wheel off my trailer today and was reliefed to find out that I do have the heavier wheel rated for 3960 lbs. I was almost sure that the manufacturer skimped and put on the lower capicity wheels. Now I've just got to break it to the wife how much a set of G614's is going to cost. Still its alot better than having to buy new wheels and tires. Thanks for everyone's help.

So, if a rim is stamped for 3960lbs, does that imply it can handle 110psi? Just curious.

I'm expecting delivery of my new Voltage 3905 Epic with full body paint in about a week. I'm replacing the factory tires for sure. I'm looking at the Goodyear G614RST (G rated 3750#) and hearing mixed reviews. I've also priced new 17.5" aluminum wheels with Cooper Roadmaster RM160's with 4805# ratings on wheel and tires. Both have 75mph speed ratings. The GVWR of the trailer is 19,000#, pin wt. around 3500#, with 7000# axles and factory 3500#+ China Bomb tires.
My question is, how harsh of a ride could I expect for my TH with the 17.5's? It has Trail Air Equaflex suspension but I hate to beat my trailer to death. Any of you folks make this change?
So exactly what size 17.5 are you looking at ? 215 or 235
