We sold our house in Idaho and drove to Quartzsite Az to buy our new home, a Rexhall Rexair 36' gasser with two 27' slides. From there we made it east and south to Corpus Christi Tx where we will set for about a month and visit with DW brother and sis-in-law. The shrimp is excellent by the way. Just bought a tow dolly for our Explorer, so we are set to be among the blessed calling themselves "Fulltimers". See ya'll down the road.

Hey! Welcome to fulltiming and the Coastal Bend region of Texas. You're going to enjoy the lifestyle and this area, also (just in time for the spring breakers!)

Good way to start sitting a month visiting kin folk. Many start out thinking in a vacation mode wanting to see everything too quick. No need to hurry you are always home wherever you are.

Congrats & welcome to the fulltiming world! We just had our 6 year anniversary on March 9, we drove away from our sold Sparks (Reno) home on March 9, 2006 in a snowstorm! We wouldn't have changed a thing, have learned a lot and watch our pennies. Safe travels!

We've been F/T since July 2011. We LOVE it. Currently in Livingston, TX. We just sold our house in NJ and have just become Texans. I've never seen my husband so happy!
Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
