What I finally did was ordered some 12x24" sheets of ABS in a couple of thickness and whet to a plumbing supply house and got the Oatley real ABS cement that has dissolved ABS in it and reinforced some cracks and the four wing nut holes in my molded propane cover with the sheets of ABS. Don't use the universal cement like you can get from Lowe's/HD since it doesn't have ABS dissolved in it. Following is what you need and might be available at your local RV dealer.
By using the ABS sheet and real ABS cement you can make it stronger than it was originally with a lot of support across a break or large crack.

This also works good to keep that crack in your windshield from spreading.
