What I finally did was ordered some 12x24" sheets of ABS in a couple of thickness and whet to a plumbing supply house and got the Oatley real ABS cement that has dissolved ABS in it and reinforced some cracks and the four wing nut holes in my molded propane cover with the sheets of ABS. Don't use the universal cement like you can get from Lowe's/HD since it doesn't have ABS dissolved in it. Following is what you need and might be available at your local RV dealer.

By using the ABS sheet and real ABS cement you can make it stronger than it was originally with a lot of support across a break or large crack.

Looks like they turned out pretty good. Give them a quick coat of paint and you should be good. Glad I could help.

For smaller cracks, drilling a hole at the bottom of the crack, slightly larger than the crack, has kept mine from cracking further for the past 4 years and several thousand miles.

This also works good to keep that crack in your windshield from spreading.

Drilling a hole in your windshield?

Just sorta kidding (April fools maybe)?
