I have a 2009 Coachman 38FWS Cross Country and I am thinking about having window covers made by Sunguard for my coach. Has anybody had covers made for this particular model made by this company. One of the reasons I am asking is that there is very little clearance between the wipers. on top and the sides between the window and cap molding. It makes me nervous about putting holes for snaps so close to the edges. Are the snaps only on top and bottom or all the way around. I know that they is company that makes covers that are put up with magnetics but the cost and the possibly of the wind getting under the cover. But the main question is does anybody have this year and model with these or another brand. PS am having to make a pattern for window for them it seems that they had fire and they have none.

We had our SunGuard covers made by RV Toy Store in Palm Springs. We had them on our Dynasty for over three years and are on our third year with the Exec. A call to them and they came out to the campground and measured the coach. The next day they came out with the custom made covers and installed them. I like the fit and the look. The ones on the Exec are the 95% ones and the ones on the Dynasty were the 65% ones. We like the darker ones. We looked at several other mfg ones, MCD, Prompt, magnetic etc. I didn't like the looks of the Prompt, the MCD were really expensive and the magnets looked ugly on the inside of the windshield. JMHO, YMMV.....give the RV Toy Store a call and see what they have available. They have many mfg patterns in stock. We wanted covers for the windshield, the door and several side windows. They will install them with either snaps or twist locks. I have snaps but I think I might go to the twist locks next time simply for ease of installation. Since the shades must be tight to look right, going from the sun in Az to the winter conditions in SD the fasteners must be placed correctly. The shades do shrink in cold weather so they are harder to put on....Dennis

Not that year and model. Do have the Sunguard. Have had for more than 5 years. We have the Velcro. No holes for us. Fairly easy to put on and works well for us.
