Gee, we have a rear bedroom, so I prefer to have the trailer slightly lower in front, and the right side slightly higher than left so water on slide out runs away from trailer.
To each his own. I camp to relax, not to spend gobs of time trying to level my trailer. If anything I try to slightly lean to the drivers side so that condensation from the AC doesn't drip on the awning side, making a puddle.
I know this post sounds harsh.....but come on, just a little bit of common sense.........where has it gone
You must remember, we now live in an "It's not my fault." society. As a result, it is no longer our responsibility to learn how to do things. If one cannot do something properly (using common sense), it's not one's fault. Hence, it is the dealers' fault that trailers are unlevel.
So how far out of level is ok as far as the refrigerator goes? I like the idea of have a little slant to get the condensation from the AC off and not down on the slide out. Plus, I'm used to sleeping with the head of my bed up higher than the bottom due to the DW having acid reflux really bad.
I remember when I bought my first 5th wheel. I asked the dealer about some bubble levels. He said "Oh, you're one of those" in a rather sarcastic manner. I'm not ashamed to admit, yes, I am!
Doesn't take but a few extra minutes and makes the use of the trailer more enjoyable.

Actually it only takes all but 2 minutes. I learned this when I had my PUP. I had stick on levels on the front of the trailer. When I backed into my site the first thing I would do is check the side-to-side level. Throw the appropriate sized boards down then back the trailer on top. waa-laa!!. I would set the front-to-back level easy enough with the tongue jack.
I used to see so many people try and level the trailer AFTER they unhooked, using their jacks. They didn't know that their main purpose was to stabilize, not support the camper.
Im real fussy about things like that. I once tore out an entire length of a middle shelf (i built 3) and re-did it because it was off a 1/4" in the span of about 4' because everytime I would see it it would drive me nuts!!!
DE88ROX, you said it best. It does not take too long to get the basic level, then use the "stabilizers" for fine adjustment.
Personally, setting up camp is part of the fun for me. I enjoy getting things just so, from making sure I am in just the right spot, checking awning deployment (trees, can I sit under it, etc...), low spots (water accumulations), to getting the trailer level. When you primarily boon dock, getting in the right spot can really make a difference. Seriously, just pulling in and then finding out the next day that your entrance is right over a big puddle... Not much fun. Plus, I enjoy sitting at my dinette with the big window and enjoying the view, so why not make it the best view possible.

I see the same thing all the time as well. Seems like it would be one of those common sense things - if for nothing else than to be comfortable when in the trailer.

After I get parked in my site, level my trailer, get all hooked up, then take a walk around the campground, I might notice other units that are not exactly level. I then return to my trailer, get out the lawn chairs, extend the awning, set up the grill, pop a cold one, and usually by then, I a have ceased to worry about other peoples set up. I usually will not be stressed out and or spend to much of my relaxation time thinking about someone elses trailer not being leve. I will probably not lose a lot of sleep over it. Just my thoughts on this topic.
