I find that if the bathroom door starts to swing open or closed by itself after a few days I tap the levelers to adjust it back to where it was when we first parked. If he door ain't swingin' we are level!

I actually level center bubble side to side but like it a half bubble high in the front. This makes the rain water run to the gutters towarsd the rear along with making the awning have a slight rearward pitch even below I set the support arms. rain water to the back, less mud in the front where we walk more often.

It didn't take us long as newbies to learn the fine art of leveling. We now know just how far off bubble to set it up that when the slide is deployed, the TT will be level. That said, the first time we used levelers, we backed in beautifully. Pulled out the level (we use a hand held level) and proceeded to put the TT on the lynx levelers. It was all level and pretty. Ok great. Disconnect, deploy slide and set up camp. We kept wondering why we were getting funny looks. I thought they were laughing at my SUV next to my 30' TT. It wasn't until we were in the TT later that we realized our mistake... we didn't account for the fact the slide would shift the level. I'm sure they were thinking what the heck are these people doing, using levelers to knock their TT out of level. It was late in the evening and we didn't feel like messing with it so we fixed it the next day. Man was that an uncomfortable night. We fixed it first thing in the morning. Won't make that mistake again. Now we check out others set ups and wonder about some of the odd ones we see. One that got me was a TT that sat really high off the ground in the back and had the nose dropped almost to the ground. I have seen a couple like this.

I can tell that I'm in the minority here...

I prefer my trailer to be about 1/2" to 1" high at the front.
Head of bed is slightly elevated.
Rain drains off trailer and awning easier.
BTW: The bathroom door will close itself...

To me, side to side level is more important than front to back.

It's no big deal to me if my trailer isn't exactly level.
I get it close and forget about it...

Something I realized way back as a teeneager is that common sense is not so common. So I'm not surprised that the dealers did not touch on the subject of leveling.

On mine I like to leave it about a half bubble high in the front. I don't notice it in the floor and the shower water doesn't spill out of the tub. The funny thing is three of my kids sleep with their heads on the downhill slope and have never complained about it.

Wow, we actually have "leveling police" on here? Can someone please tell me what the spec. is for proper leveling, I want to meet YOUR standards so I can have common sense.

side to side is first thing I check when backing in.... Then, put 2x6 pieces under whichever tires need it the most.

I also don't worry THAT much about front to back level.. After all, How accurate is the 'bubble' anyway? I can lift/lower my tongue jack an inch without REALLY affecting the bubble... So i get it close then 'batten down the hatches' and enjoy my weekend.

But, to each their own.

I was at Gig Bear in a State park up there. A guy pulled or rather backed into the spot across from me with his class C motorhome. Deployed his awning, hooked up his water, sewer & electric and was ready to camp. I later asked him about not leveling it and he was perfectly happy as he said, "as long as the water drains he's O.K." That'd drive me nuts but I supose, to each his own!!

Wisdom is the right use of knowledge. To know is not to be wise. Many men know much, and are all the greater fools for it. There is no fool so great a fool as a knowing fool. But to know how to use knowledge is to have wisdom.

Not really "leveling police". Some just like their stuff level. Others don't. No biggie.
