mlemonis wrote: As for SH, if we left you stranded that just simply is not acceptable. If you had GS and we left you hanging and you had out of pocket expense we should have reimbursed you. Please email me the details of that so that we can look into including your first and last name. If you need a policy I will comp you for one year for your hassle.
Thank you for your concern and offer. I did not expect such considerate customer service. I sent a PM with the story and information!

If someone has GS roadside coverage, and the vehicke needs to be towed, how does it work if the disabled RV is a sprinter, and the breakdown occurrs MANY miles (hundreds) from a service center?

We purchased Roadside Assistance Feb. 14, 2012 by phone with a credit card. This is listed as in force on our account page but as of yesterday's mail, no cards have been received. We are getting close to our departure date for a 10 day RV trip and are concerned because we have no proof or phone number to call.
Can you help?

Your "account page" should have an "contact us" button that should provide you with either a phone number or email address. If not, just go to "Goodsamclub.com" and look on the top row and you'll see a button labled "contact". It provides all the phone numbers and email address.
HOpe this helps

I also have not received any cards for the Roadside service. I did get the info downloaded onto my Android phone. This is to help speed up the repair process. While doing this GS's website mentioned that I would have to request membership cards.

I'm pretty sure you can print out a temporary card from the web site once you have joined.

Thank you everyone for your helpful suggestions. I searched for a way to print off a membership card but unfortunately could not find it. I did print off the brochure which had the toll free phone number and the benefits listed so that was helpful. Perhaps our cards are just delayed in the mail, will check again tomorrow.

Made a trip into town this morning to our PO box and the cards were there. Sorry I was so impatient, but think possibly it was the slowdown of mail delivery. Now we're set for our trip. So glad we had this forum to help us.

I have been a member for one year and now it is up for renewal, wondering whether to renew, never used it.
I have always had CAA RV Plus (like AAA) since 2005, never used that either.
I would like to read other postings on this thread's topic too!
Personally, I dropped CAA Plus RV like a hot potato. While I didn't go with Good Sam as my provider, there is a considerable price difference between CAA and Good Sam that is, in itself, worth it.
Consider that with CAA only you are covered. Whereas with Good Sam and Coach-Net, you, your spouse and dependant children under 25 are covered for the vehicles they are driving (Good Sam Platinum).
