we are going to Stone Mountain State Park, NC this Friday-Sunday. Then from April 6-14 we will be at Ocena Lakes in Myrtle Beach. Then I just booked yesterday for us to be at the KOA in Townsend, TN (Gatlinburg area) for July 14-21. We will plug in some other weekends along the way. I will have off the weekend of Columbus Day. We went to Cherokee a couple years ago that weekend and had a great time at Jellystone there. They did Halloween all month long. Kids got to trick or treat. The weather was nice and cool.

rnamiddleton - where at in NC are you?

I am cancelling a trip to Skidaway State Park in April today. We were going for a week.

June is 9 days at Hunting Island State Park. August is 8 days at Edisto State Park.

An between the big trips will be peppered with small weekend getaways to wherever.

I have to say the state parks sure save money. Usually we MB at some point like OC or Apache, but price increases they got steep. Just under $80 per night. I hit my limit at those parks now.

Sounds like everyone has some great trips planned!!

We spent 34 days in Florida starting Jan 30th and have a week trip planned for Georgia in early April. We will have to work around graduations and a wedding in May-June.

No plans at this point. We'll just wing it, as usual. And, depending on how crazy the gas prices get, that may limit our trips.

Ditto that.

We've got maps for a two-week trip to Arches NP, Bryce, and Zion, but $5+/gal gas is probably going to put the kibosh on that...

Nothing special but were going on site for this season. Staying close do to MIL health problems. By the end of the season I hoping to be a local minigolf pro.

We will start our season end of this month with a trip an hour south into Amish country then the following weekend we are doing a week long trip to DC and then to Williamsburg. After that we will settle into our seasonal site and do just a few in state trips from there.

Just booked close to home for our anniversary weekend, May 4-6th. We are going to a small state park, Thompson Lake Campground in NY outside Albany. Just going to relax, fish and enjoy some time as a family. Can't wait. Only draw back is no electric but should be find with battery for two nights. Anyways, can get a generator if needed and only 10 miles from home. Just want to be in the RV somewhere other than the real home. Can't wait. Going to start doing the spring maintenance on the RV starting this weekend. So excited for spring.

Already went camping near Sants Cruz and Monterey this month. My sister is getting married this summer in NY, and we are going to do an old fashion road trip, stopping every few hundred miles to see whatever is there. Should be interesting.

We have most plans booked, April trip, a first for us, Memorial Day has been booked for a year as has Labor Day. We have a couple weekends in June, a week the end of July into August, heading to Hershey. Just have to book a weekend in July, one more in August and possibly a trip or 2 in the fall.
