We,too, had sway with a heavy load on an F-350 SRW. Rancho 9000 adjustable shocks did the job. We've also found that lowering the air pressures in the air bags helped with stabilizing the ride. Just bring the bed up to the same height it is when unloaded, measured from the top of the tire to the bottom edge of the wheel well.

And ditch the air bags which exacerbate instability.

Add a swaybar and add a good shock. Spring upgrades work better than air bags for ride quality - have someone add a spring to the rear spring pack or get a spring pack and the overload contacts from a 3500 srw...

My vote for best shock is the KYB monomax and I used to be a die hard bilstein fan.

Thanks! So, if I add the weight of the truck (say, 6000lbs.) and the TC (4200 lbs wet)that's about 10,000 lbs total spread out over 4 tires that can handle 3195 each or over 12,000 total so sounds like the tires are good for my setup, right?

not really. the front axel/wheels/ tires carry less weight than the rear axel/wheels/ tires. you need to go to a scale get total weight and then front axel weight and rear axel weight. Most rigs are over the GVWR but you really must be under the gross axel /wheel/tire ratings for both front and rear
