Holy Cow !!!!

The CG sites in the 3 Valley CGs sure went fast. Within seconds, virtually every site was reserved.

Three of us tried at 7:00 AM Pacific for 2 sites each for a specific 7 day period, but had no luck. So I perused other Yosemite CGs for available sites during the 4-week reservation window, and at about 7:05 AM was lucky to get Hodgdon Meadow site #64 for a 7-day stay.

LOL....I had my home office set up as a Yosemite NP Reservation Mission Control; with CG maps & multiple monitors.

Congratulations! 7 days, wow! That's pretty much what you have to do!

I take a similar approach that you have with multiple sites picked and several people logging in. I have had up to 8 separate computers with 8 separate campsites with no luck. It was 2009 the last time I could get a reservation on the opening day between May 15th and August 30th.

I don't know what to say, it has gotten impossible to reserve a site in the valley. Reminiscing the days when I could call 2-3 months in advance and have my pick of sites, I could also go multiple times throughout the summer. That was pre-flood..

Congratulations!!

I was one of the unlucky this morning.
I had everything lined up and was pushing buttons at one minute till and then by 3 minutes after all the spots I wanted in UPPER, LOWER, and NORTH PINES were gone! They simply disappeared in a blink of an eye.

Oh well. There's other campgrounds to be found.

I didn't know about the lottery but was able to make a reservation for 7 days at Hodgdon Meadow campground site #87 but for the end of April, beginning May.

Does anyone know where I can dump tanks other than in the valley?

THanks.

I think that's the only place in the park, otherwise you have to leave and go to a private campground.

I was lucky enough last month to get a site in Lower Pines for June... and I did it from my iPhone!

I got skunked too, tried for three different sites, couldn't get any of them. Everything else gone within minutes. Oh well, maybe next year.
