I am in the process of changing out my air over coil mattress on my pull out sleeper sofa as I find it's a big hassle to make up every night.
I was wondering , for those that have a flexsteel coil spring mattress, if it is comfortable or not.
I called flexsteel and they said I could buy a coil only mattress to replace my air over coil.
My other option is to go with a memory foam over a base foam mattress replacement made for sleeper sofas. The foam replacements sound pretty good in the literature but I have no way of trying one.

I never slept on one of them sofa beds that was worth a hoot no matter what crummy, too thin mattress they had. For us the best bet is a decent quality airbed laid out on the floor. JMHO

The coil only mattresses are horrible. But then again again anything 3-4 inches think can't be to comfy to begin with. I would think the fowm mattress would be 100% better just due to tht lack of coils. We have a queen memory foam in our TT and at home. Don't think I would ever go back to coils.
