We are going to an RV Rally in Rayne, LA starting March 26, 2012. I can't seem to get any information from the city of Rayne! I was wondering if they have any city busses or transportation of any kind from the park to downtown? The park has 737 spaces but the city doesn't seem to do a very good job at fielding any questions about it. I would rather not have to tow my toad if they have any transportation that we can use. Thank you for any replies, and have a good day. Gary

Gary
We go to Rayne several times a yr. with our FMCA chapter. It's one of the few places in So. La. that has the physical facilities large enough to handle our rallys, 200 to 230 coaches. Rayne is basicly a bedroom community for Lafayette and does not have a public transit system so if you have a toad I'd bring it. Crowley is the closest town and has some good restaurants and a Wally World. Lots of shopping in Lafayette for the girls and some very good golf courses. There is a Winn Dixie super market about 200yds from the edge of the park you can walk to.
Go to Google Earth and you can get a pretty good view of the place, just So. of I-10 and W. of La.35.

Enjoy Acadiana

Dave

1995 Brave, I got to that site and when I tried to leave my name and address for the people to send me information it kept kicking my log-on attempt out! It never would let me log-on. Thanks
