Guy I work with has a very nice 08 with 6.4 and 20 k miles...looks new hAS lift.. .but dNg fords scare me.. Ford has best truck but worst diesel. Just scarey.

This truck is not for you. I would say the same thing regardless of make or model. If you have to ask how much something cost to own or to fix you can not afford to own it. If you are scared before you had a problem you may not survive if you do incur one.

Had lbz.. Just got totaled by some idiot. And it saved my life and not his.. I love ford trucks but got soured on the 6.0 I had

Buy another Chevy LBZ, they are just like the other brands of diesel pickups, on used car lots all over the place. Bet with a little looking you can find a real nice low mileage truck that fits your needs and you are comfortable with. I will never buy another new truck, there are just way too many lightly used diesels available, especially trucks coming off of lease.

Affording the truck ia one thing. Dont want a truck that is always breaking down. Having a 6.0 I couldnt trust scares me into buying another ford, thia truck is beautiful. .

I have a friend of mine that has a shop where the border patrol trucks come in to get serviced.

He makes the most money when it's a 6.4 L Ford.

Take that as you wish. That's what the guy told me, and he has no reason to lie to me.
