We purchased a stove top cover from camping world, we received it in the mail the other day and its everything I wished for except I did not realize that I would need to drill holes in my brand new counter-top to secure it. we are thinking about just removing it from the stove while traveling. anyone else have this dilemma? have you secured them a different way? Here is the top I purchased "Stove Cover"

Who manufactured the stove??
Try them and maybe they have a cover that attaches to the cook top.
The one we have in our motor home is attached to the stove.

Try one of these. We have one an love it. Just do not set a hot pan on it. It sits on top of the burner grates and does not move while traveling. While cooking, my wife just stands it up against the side of the dinette slide-out wall.

If yours is like mine (the fold on half metal type), all that is required is a few holes drilled behind the cooktop. I didn't even think twice about drilling into the counter as I don't consider the cooktop to be temporary. In fact we don't even cook inside so it is always closed as extra counter space. You won't regret it. Just my 2 cents.

I use a butcher block cutting board that has a bottom lip that is meant to keep it even with a counter top. It fits perfect over the stove and is nice to look at.
