We went in 2009 and the road was great. However, last years condition does not equal this years condition. It depends on the weather and when the road was serviced.

Fulltimers. No more grass to cut, no more leaves to rake, and can move if we don't like our neighbors.
States we spent time in, drive throughs not marked.
Last year when we wanted to go in, the road was again under repair due to flooding. In 2010 it was closed completely due to flooding.
Ironically, my first trip into Eagle was February 2012, in winter when the road is always closed due to snow! Was flown in for my work with the Yukon Quest sled dog race.
All the more motivated to make it back in summer now ... it is a lovely spot along the Yukon River!
