Every time I wash or wax my RV I get totally disgusted at Newmar. From the day I purchased my 04 KSDP I have hard waxed it a minimum of twice a year, washed it every couple of months or when it needed it. I also, between waxing I used Mother's spray wax and cleaner.
Newmar knew of this problem an allowed owners to find out the hard way, most after their warranties were expired, as in my case. Newmar should have made good and repaired the units that were effected. Now those of us who have this problem can lay out thousands of dollars to rectify it. Newmar neglected to notify owners of this problem even after they were fully aware of the defects and after they apparently, along with other manufactures, won a class action suit against corning. How much of that money did they pocket. Sounds like most of it.
I received a call from a Newmar dealer in Or and he stated that Newmar, at one time was assisting owners in repairing this defect. Anyone have this done and what the cost was after Newmar helped out.

Like a friend of mine told me, join the club. Mine is only crazed on one side and on the dark color. I've shot the temp with my thermal gun and it's right at 170* in the hot sun. The fiberglass will out-gas at temps above 140* thus causing the crazing. I know how you feel believe me, it burns my (_y_) too. Picture failure, again.

Sorry to hear about that.
Has this been fixed on coaches after your model year?
