I have a F53 V-10 and take it to our local Ford/Lincoln dealer. $79.00 for oil, filter, lube, check and set air pressure, check and fill all fluids, etc. I quit doing it myself as my wife gets mad when I get oil on the driveway, and no matter how hard I try I always spill some of it even if I used a tarp.

I do my own, but I understand your situation..

Have you tried a mobile mechanic?

I'm sure you could also find a local fella (or gal) that you could hire...

WOW, Will get some flack on this but Wally World has quite a few newer stors with high doors and pit. They usually treat as 1 ton truck.

On a class C they can do you....on a 35 ft class A...no way partner

My Class A is 38' and Wally World does it all the time. Cost is around $62.00. Gaspar does it every year and does a great job. Mobil 1 5W30.

I do most work myself, but for some work I use a Mobile mechanic like Shoreco suggested. His hourly rate is reasonable and he is fast. He also races cars and is fun to talk to! That said, check with your local parts store and ask them who is a good mobile mechanic. I found one that way on a long trip and he came to the RV park. (It turned out to be a loose vacuum hose and was an easy and cheap fix.)

Just a FYI. I use a pneumatic grease gun and no pumping. Hope it helps. Cheap at harbor tools

Thanks a bunch for all the replys. First off I only live 22 miles from Wichita Falls, no where that I have found can handle a MH, next I am only 11 miles from a big truck stop that works on Semi's, but they do not do Motor Homes I have asked a few times. The White truck center in the Falls do not have a pit and can not put a 36' MH on the rack.
The worst part of doing it my self is disposing of the old oil. Plus I don't have very good use of my left arm any more and can not hold the grease gun in place and pump it at the same time. At 79 years old I can still do almost every thing. Maybe I can get the DH to crawl under there and help me hold the grease gun, she's only 75.ha-ha Thanks for all the suggestions.

Maybe some Big O tire centres will lube your A-Class, but the one I tried two days ago, said no. Their alignment bay has a pit that's right at the front door and not likely to allow front to back servicing. It's set up for alignments on cars and light trucks.

I used to but now I don't do my own anymore either, too much of a pia and I have nowhere to dump the old oil. I just go to my dealer and get them to change both the engine and genny oil and filters.

Get some references and find a young local mechanic who does some jobs on the side and have him crawl under there and do it.

In our area there are several that advertise as doing "mobile" service for all vehicles. They will come to your location and do the oil change, lube, and even a few other minor maintenance items at your location. For most motor homes, all you have to do is just crawl under the coach and lube it while laying on your back. Of course if your coach is parked on gravel at your house, you may want to take it to a near by parking lot to make it a little easier. You are basically looking at less than one hour for a full service.
