I ordered my superhitch with extension on Friday from radauto in Oregon. $804.00 delivered to my door.....not bad.
I was under red the other day and getting the old hitch off is gunna suck, its welded in....EVERYWHERE! Why do people get so cheap and cheesey....instead of just buying the right hitch for the truck, they hack together some monstrosity and then weld it to the truck? I HATE HACKS!

I would highly recomend that you do an undercoating of the entire hitch once it is installed. I life on the coast and mine has rusted a lot. I love the product and it is very dependable. The only flaw is the powdercoating. A quick coating and you will have that extra peace of mind.

You have a 1990 truck.
We're spoiled by all of this "plug and play" bolt-on, easy-to-install kit stuff. That didn't exist in 1990.
You had to drill the frame or weld the hitch on. In fact your new Superhitch will almost definitely require some drilling and/or welding on such an old truck.

Agree - I did that when installing my Superhitch and tiedowns, including the bolts and all. I also sprayed the rest of the underside with Fluid Film.
