I'm thinking about purchasing a 25' rockwood but have seen some bad reviews on line. Does anyone have any opinions or recommendations for an alternate maker. I'm a first time buyer. Thanks

Go to the Forest River owners forum and ask folks who actually own them! HERE! The folks who have issues are always the loudest, the people that have great RV's rarely complain!
Most companies will have virtually the same floorplans in the price range you are looking at. Look at Jayco, KZ RV, Trail Lite, Heartland, Dutchmen, Keystone, CrossRoads Slingshots.
My posts shouldn't be taken for factual data. They are purely fictional, for entertainment purposes and should not be constituted as actually related to scientific, technical, engineering, legal, spiritual or practical advice. Amen.

My Rockwood had a floor that felt like walking on a pillow after only a few months. I laid half inch plywood over it to keep from falling through. It was a brand new 2004 model.

We had a 1999 Rockwood TT that we bought new and really enjoyed. Had a couple of minor problems, but no more that we had with our Class A and C MH's. Hope you enjoy it.

We have the Rockwood Mini 2109s and with the exception of a minor thermostat problem that is easily fixable, we are very happy with our choice. I like to think I did my homework and made the best choice for us. I even called Forest River HQ and sort of "interviewed" a few folks there before purchasing. I'm one of these super annoying people that has to feel good about the product, manufacturer and dealer before I spend that kind of money. I liked the product, my dealer treats us VERY well and the manufacturer was more than happy to answer my questions. And yes, the Forest River Forums have been very helpful.
Good luck and above all...HAVE FUN!!!

We're on our 2nd Rockwood, the first was the hybred ROO 23SS loved it no major problems 5 years use. Last summer we bought a Rockwood Ultra-lite 2604 and love it too. Used it about 45 days last year - NO ISSUES at all.
