In my own twisted mind, I'd love to record some of these "dumping methods" over the next few months, speed them up and add a little Benny Hill music. Bet that would be as gross as it is funny!
Just one of the reason that we would never own any kind of RV, that has "Cables" or "Electric Dump Valves" on it.
We will take the old fashionedd Valve Balde type of Valves any day. And I mean Valves that are right there, at the edge of the RV, no way under it even a little bit.
As we hate to get on our knees, or to reach under to open any type of Valve.
The more I read threads like this.. The more I like the way they set up my plumbing,, Open the compartment door, Pop the portal Hook up the hose, Pull the T-Handle, the valves are right there.
Nothin adds excitment like something that is none of your business

Stuff happens, to more than you think. Most wont admit it. I'll tell you more about it the next time I see you at the dump station, as soon as I finish my sandwich..
Too bad it happened, did you offer to give him some help such as washing him off or whatever? He waas no doubt embarassed, but I'm sure he could have used a little assistance maybe.

Since we're never in a hurry to leave on Sunday, we have front row seats to the dumpers and their various methods. Great entertainment.
We've witnessed everything from gloveless handling, snaking the hose through windows, kids sitting on the "curb" near the septic hole, awesome spillages, wife vs. husband battles to people drinking and filling fresh water tanks with the "poop hose".
It takes all kinds I guess, and we've given up trying to re-warn these folks what the bigger-than-life warning signs are trying to warn them about.
As host of a State park campground in Pa. we seen a boy fill his water bottle from the dump station hose. As I was telling him what the hose was used for his grandmother came. She then told him too empty that water out and get water from the fresh water station. We told her too have him get rid of that bottle, but she said it would be ok. What can you do with people like that?
