Is the frame on a 2003 Jayco Qwest up to tandem towing? I know it is considered a light fifth wheel. Towing two jet skis or a smallish boat.

Not to be a smart A&@ but......I would NOT ask that question on here,, I would ask the manufacturer.. On here all you will get is people assuming they have the proper answer to that question.. Sure would hate to see you have issues while towing double because one of us said it was ok.... Joe

I had to a piece of the frame on my 2003 Quest 281E fall out from under it. Had a cracked weld on another portion. There is not much cross bracing from the axles back on it (well there is now that I have reinforced it).

Jayco does not condone towing behind any of there units. Voids the warranty. So no they do not say you can do it. Obviously people do this. I need to know if anyone has experienced issues with their Jayco Qwest frames. I am buying a camper already out of warranty. Very common out here for people to tow tandem.
