Met a fellow RVer whom had his coach parked for 6 months in the weeds near malibu, mice ate his wires up along an inside of the storage bays.. Apparently important wires. After a 10K insurance fix he found a mouse/rodent box that acts as a stun gun .. uses 2 D batteries.. easy to empty an reuse..I'm sure a google search would find this contraption.

Try PURE PEPERMENT OIL. Put in in your RV using cotton balls, and the rodents will no longer be present. Scatter it around in several places.

If you do a search on mice, you will see many posts where people swear that the mice LOVE the peppermint oil cottonballs, and use them for beds and nests. Same with dryer sheets, and YES, even the REAL BOUNCE ones, not the generics.

Jim

I don't think they love it. I am speaking from experience. I had mice for 2 yrs in my trailer and the Peppermint discouraged them. It must be PURE PEPPERMENT OIL, not just the scent.

Yes, joelc has it right, it must be PURE Peppermint. Can be found at vitamin stores for about $20 for a small bottle (a liitle goes a long way).

I use rope lights on the ground completely surrounding my coach. Haven't had a visitor in two years! My neighbor feeds birds so there's always rodents around the neighborhood eating seeds at night. after spending $1000.00 on chewed generator wires I haven't had a problem since! The principle behind the lights is rodents try to avoid light as much as possible due to it exposes them to there enemies.

I think the alternatives outweigh the poison, which could get into the system of the campers. I don't think the alternatives are straying from the intent of the poster, but adding knowledge of a possible fix for their problems.

I don't disagree with you Joe, .. but I'm curious too as to OP's question and if it works. So far there hasn't been a single answer to the original question.

Its total smoke and mirrors and "BS". Says it works on the principal that mice; rats etc..are nocturnal....FALSE! Ever seen a mouse in the daytime? I sure have.

You can either buy it..or send me the $$ so I can blow it away...either way you tossed your money in the commode
