Use the search function and search camping Calgary. Several of us locals have made several suggestions of places to stay around theses parts.

Can't say that I find any campground in Calgary acceptable. Suggest you try outside of Calgary. Cochrane has 2 that are OK. RV parkreviews is a good resource.

Last year we stayed in Cochrane at Springhill RV Park. Springhill
Very nice park. Full hook-ups, wi-fi, and nice long pull-thrus. This was an easy drive to the station where you catch the C-Train for the stampede (if you are going). It will also make many other stops along the way so you can explore the city. C-Train
The rodeo at the stampede was great. Stampede

Just check the policies of all the campgrounds in that area,
because they are private they set their own(nothing wrong with that)
some have really stupid rules and bend them for some(friends or family) and really enforce on others.
Mountain Veiw is known for changing polices overnight(depending on how they feel)
Calgary West has been the most pleasing.

I do not recommend Whispering Spruce near Balzac. Lots of cons and very few pros about this place.
