my brother bought a new to him 1994 tioga class c with an f350 front.
he is not a member here but i am. as im sure we will have plenty of questions i will use the forums for his questions.
loads of fun picking it up. up at four am. to get there by nine, check the unit out ,hit the bank then insurance and we were home by dinner. luck with the weather too, as the highways have been closed lately due to weather and slides.
i know some rv stuff but the c class is new to me.
first question. does the generator charge the house battery too.? or do we need to plug it into something?
also if using the appliances while the genny is on, do they draw from the generator or the battery?
the generator is an on board "onis?" i believe.
i told him hes got a few days of cleaning etc. and making it his own.
pretty excited, this is his first rv.

just havin fun
The generator does charge the house batterys. On most of the older fleetwood Class C motorhomes you will need to look inside the area where the electric cord is and there will be an electric plug that comes from the Generator. You will need to plug the electric cord into that for power from the generator. When on the Generator every thing should work normal.
