How about the Jamboree/Tioga 26Q It has a very large rear storage area I think Mine is Rated @ 100cubic ft You can find a lot of pictures on line of them. Plus there is storage under the floor of the storage area.

My LTV Libero has a narrow door into the corner bed are, but it runs all the way across the vehicle... and a side storage door goes into the same area. The awning equipment stores on the rear door. The Serenity has the same feature.

My Coffee kicked in and I started thinking....which rear storage...

Something like this

or What I was originally thinking:

That second rear storage concept was such a dumb idea Winnebago dropped it. The master bad had to be folded in half to open up that to full height...and then you're gonna put a muddy mountain bike in there? That and you have the bin door next to you as you sleep...not good in cold weather.

Winnebago makes a 28 footer with a queen (26Q) that has a pretty huge bin in the back.

If you are looking used the Bigfoot 29G has the biggest bin of all short of a toy hauler. Under the master bedroom is a small garage that will fit a quad. My brother has one ans they keep ski gear in there in the winter and bikes int he summer....along with a bunch of other stuff.

As an alternative if you are not using a toad, would a rack that goes in the receiver hitch help things? That is something I plan to attach to my rig so the generator has a nice little home, other than in my truck's bed.

I agree with the Jamboree26Q. Our storage area is great. I carry whatever I need plus an air compressor and 2 foldup bike. The spare tire is back there too. One of the covers for the under floor storage area is actual a picnic table that is approx 5 feet by 3+ feet.

About what size C, and how old?

When Coachmen was making the Freedom line (2002 - 2005 approximately) there were two rear garage models, one about 22 foot, the other 24-25. This was almost full height of the house, across the whole back, and deep enough for a bike if you did something about the handlebars.

From approximately 2004 until they got out of the motorhome business, Bigfoot was making a 29 foot C with a rear side garage, Euro toyhauler size, which means high enough for upright bicycles or smaller off-road motorcycles, holding maybe four or more of the former, two of the latter.

When Winnebago introduced the Sprinter-based C's, one of the two early floorplans shared storage space with a fold-up rear corner bunk, sized for a bicycle (or two or three). This had outdoor access, but you have to take out what you have stored to use that bed. This has been common in bunkhouse TTs, and you may find it in a few other C models.

Side/rear is generally friendier than rear/rear because it is under the awning making it nice to get to on a rainy day, and if towing, there is no hitch apparatus in the way.

We have a side rear and greatly appreciate it for the reasons mentioned. It's not as huge as some motor homes but then neither is our rig.

Here is our side/rear vacated. What you see is a water pressure tank and shroud for the pump.

One thing you have to watch out for. Just because you have the room, does not mean you can load it up. It all depends on what you place inside. Fill it up with firewood and you'll break a spring. Fill it up with bulky child plastic yard toys and you'll be just fine.

I should mention we too have a rear storage compartment for shallow stuff as shown. What you see there is a 2'x4' plastic folding table with adjustable length legs. It's great.
