Cut Astro turf for step width (minus about 1" on each side) & long enough to "wrap around" front (nose) & rear of step (the part that wraps under the step is where you install the Brass Grommets (4 across the width).
NOTE: on my steps the Astro Turf was cut 19" wide x 16" long
Then just feed the pre-made bungee cords thru the Grommets across form each other and use the orange balls to pull the bungee cord loop over and hold in place. The Bungees / balls are on the bottom side.
very inexpensive and does a good job of knocking off the dirt. easy to remove.
